I can't crank the volume knob past 2 or 3 in my bedroom. I also happen to think the low power switch works great! your gear! It is 1 watt,...and has a half power setting. In the future, I might try a lower gain tube in the V1 socket to clean up the green side a little more, but it's not something I am racing to do. I will still use the TS though, I like what it does. You are not going to rattle the floors with crushing low end from an 8 inch speaker, and Im always surprised when people expect that and are let down.As I said at the beginning, this is a practice amp, and if you judge it as such, its probably the best practice amp Ive ever heard.
